Hot water and steam hoses

Hot water and steam hoses are well suited for use in a variety of commercial and municipal industries. The hoses are composed of an inner and outer wall, often made of the material EPDM and sometimes in combination with fiberglass or extruded CIIR. This depends on the type of hose. These materials ensure that the hot water and steam hoses are resistant to various influences such as heat, water, steam, ozone, sunlight and various acids and chemicals. The outer wall is always pinpricked to prevent blisters.

Important: always release the steam or water after use! Let the hose to dry or blowdry it to prevent popcorning.

High and low pressure

Hot water and steam hoses can be divided into two different types: low pressure and high pressure. The low-pressure hoses are suitable for saturated steam and can be used up to a temperature of 165°C, with a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar. The high-pressure hoses are suitable for saturated steam up to a temperature of 210°C and superheated steam (short-term) up to 232°C. The high-pressure hoses have a maximum working pressure of 18 bar.
